Job Summary

Global Sales Operations Team is seeking a strong Sales Operations Program Manager who will support the overall deal enablement function, which is a dynamic group chartered with providing mission critical support in all aspects of the deal process, including: pricing/discount governance and guidance, enterprise licensing, contract structure, and deal approvals. The successful candidate will have program management, process, systems, analytics and project management background with demonstrated experience in supporting a team-based approach, implementing programs and supporting business practices to facilitate the entire deal life cycle.

The candidate person must have demonstrated ability to support the operationalization and execution of program offerings. The candidate must also have proven project management skills with demonstrated ability to effectively manage cross-functional projects. The candidate will work closely with members from Sales, Finance, Services, Product Operations, Legal, and IT.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive effort to ensure integrity of deal processes such as booking, entitlement tracking and audit, installed base and contract entitlement, etc.
  • Develop and support current and planned process and system enhancements to help streamline and improve overall deal enablement process.
  • Develop and provide communication and training to sales and functional stakeholder teams.
  • Define and develop metrics that can be used to track performance and conduct analysis to help identify areas for opportunities and improvement
  • Execute on projects and initiatives related to the Deal Enablement function.

Job Requirements

Skills and Experience Requirements:

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and pre-defined measurement criteria
  • Solid understanding of Sales, Finance, Product Management and IT processes and objectives, as related to sales and tool enablement
  • Ability to design and implement processes where needed
  • Good business acumen, attention to detail with the ability to understand the big picture
  • Must be analytical, with sound decision-making skills
  • Ability to design and implement processes where needed
  • Proven project management skills with demonstrated ability to effectively manage cross-functional projects.
  • Creative approach to problem solving
  • Proactive in nature and have the strong capacity to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written, as well as, strong interpersonal skills
  • Good mastery of Excel, proficient in Word and PowerPoint

Education

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience as an individual contributor
  • BS required
  • Experience in Sales Operations, Finance, Deal Management
