Shift Information: Variable

(2) 12 hour shifts, (2) 8 hour shifts.

Position Summary :

Assists in the Intra-hospital transport of pediatric and adult patients as directed by Registered Nursing staff. Assesses patient status and implements patient care during intra-hospital transports. Assists with procedures and monitoring of patients during procedures within departmental standards of care and practice. Assists other staff members in patient care and movement/repositioning of patients.


Currently certified as an E.M.T.-Paramedic in the State of Ohio. Minimum of 1 year experience at the Paramedic level required. Current Health Care Provider BLS (or equivalent) training is required. PALS and ACLS are required on hire or within one year of hire. Successful completion of Kidsport orientation and maintenance of procedural skills. Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and organizational skills required.
