Workday Integration Developer (Vacancy #90148P)

Iowa State University is seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Workday Integration Developer. This position will design, develop, and support Workday HCM/Finance/Payroll/Student integrations. Using the full suite of Workday integration development tools, this position develops critical system integrations, provides production support to resolve problems and monitor performance, and is an integral member of the teams responsible for 3rd party integration vendor relationship and related product management. As a member of the Workday Integration team, candidates will actively track Workday integration strategy & architecture enhancements and effectively incorporate new Workday tools. This role may also involve development and support for local Java and .net applications. This position requires a thorough knowledge of object oriented and functional programming concepts and is expected to adhere to industry-standard development and testing standards. Successful candidates will have knowledge of architectural styles like REST (Representational State Transfer), SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), MVC (Model View Controller) and micro-services. Experience with Workday Cloud and Core Connectors, Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Document Transformation, Report as a Service (RaaS) is preferred but not required. This position may be filled at a higher level. In addition to the aforementioned responsibilities, the higher level will have strong Workday experience and lead efforts in training, integration, and mentoring.
This position works at a highly technical level providing enterprise web applications development expertise and leadership in its design, maintenance and support. This position requires effective communication and presentation skills with the ability to work with all levels of the organization.
