We are hiring in the Seattle, Lynnwood and Burien locations in Washington State. POSITION SUMMARY Our Seattle-Georgetown operations center is utilized to perform high technology safety inspections using GPS and other digital technologies to perform leak detection surveys for our client, the local natural gas utility. A typical day consists of using mapping and reports to guide the survey work of gas assets, reporting data about the information collected, completing forms, and attending previously scheduled appointments for surveys. Candidates should enjoy working outside and walking multiple miles per day. Candidates must also be computer literate and able to learn new software quickly. Highly valued traits at Hydromax USA include the ability to work independently, complete tasks efficiently and quickly, and possess good communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES Complete work in an efficient manner Adhere to all safety and quality policies Complete training and pass tests to become Operator Qualified (training provided by Hydromax USA) Accurately detect/classify gas leaks and other related tasks Perform work outside in residential, commercial, and industrial areas This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 1 year work experience, preferably construction or similar Ability to work independently and be accountable for production goals/measurements Computer knowledgeable and able to quickly learn new software Able and willing to walk on all terrain and up to 5 or more miles per day Able and willing to work in all types of weather Possess good work ethic and able and willing to work in a structured work environment requiring employee to observe and follow all company and client procedures, processes, and policies Valid Driver's License with safe driving record Able to pass federal DOT drug screening and background check A pre-employment drug screen (including Marijuana) and third party background check are required as a condition of employment.
