Coordinator of University Parallel Dual Enrollment General Employee Responsibilities Comply with local, state, and federal guidelines and laws. Comply with Northeast State Community College and Tennessee Board of Regents policies, procedures, and guidelines.Comply with SACSCOC (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges) standards and guidelines.Promote and maintain College and TBR Mission, Vision, and Values.Promote and comply with Northeast State Community College SAFE Campus programs.Maintain digital calendar and archive annually on June 30. Provide supervisor with access to calendar and an archived copy of calendar for annual performance review.Seek efficiencies and continuous improvement in both position and personal growth.Lead/promote College and TBR initiatives as they relate to this office.In all duties assigned, show a commitment to quality, customer service, and Northeast State Community College to include students, College employees, and the community served by Northeast State. Be an active and contributing part of the Northeast State Team.Follow professional code of conduct and ethics; maintain professional dress in compliance with expectations of the position.Complete other assignments as directed by supervisor/President.Utilize effective people skills in working with internal and external customers. Specific Role and Responsibilities Manages the day-to-day operation of the University Parallel Dual Enrollment (UPDE) program at Daniel Boone High School, Elizabethton High School, Happy Valley High School, Hampton High School, Sullivan Central High School, Sullivan North High School, Sullivan South High School, and Tri-Cities Christian School.Corresponds with parents and students regarding all aspects of application and dual enrollment grant processes.Serves as the primary contact for high school administrators, counselors, and staff at the schools listed above.Coordinates marketing initiatives, parent nights, student interest meetings, and counselor/principal meetings with the high schools listed above.Advises on-campus dual enrollment students at the schools listed above and home-schooled dual enrollment students.Provides business office services by creating and disseminating individualized invoice documents for dual enrollment students at high schools listed above and ensures payment is received.Verifies and certifies all dual enrollment students in TSAC eGRANDS state portal in conjunction with the Director of the UPDE program.Provides support to the Director of the University Parallel Dual Enrollment Program.Ensures all prerequisite course requirements are met appropriately and coordinates assessment testing when applicable.Assists in developing UPDE marketing and promotional materials.Registers dual enrollment students in Banner at the schools listed above, utilizing mass registration as required.Enters dual enrollment classes in Banner, ensuring classes are built according to procedure and reflecting appropriate parts of term.Develops, coordinates and disseminates dual enrollment course, instructor, and program evaluations each semester.Completes other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Assistant Vice President of Multi-Campus Programs, including temporary assignment to any Northeast State campus. Requirements of the Position Minimum Qualifications and Education Requirements Education - Bachelor's degree required from a regionally accredited institution, Master's degree preferredExperience - Two years management, administrative, or supervisory experience requiredTechnology Skills: MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook; digital records management systems; general operating systems and data information systems Preferred Skills
