Human Resources Data Application Specialist

We are seeking a skilled HR Data Application Specialist to join our corporate team in Seattle, WA.
Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, the primary focus of the HR Data Application Specialist is the creation of documents based on HR data and support, validation and maintenance of the ADP HRIS Workforce Now/Time & Attendance system and other systems used within the HR function. This role serves as a technical point‑of‑contact for ensuring data integrity, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities.
This role also facilitates corporate human resources communications around benefits, wellness, and other initiatives, and also assists the HR team on miscellaneous HR projects as needed.
Create documents from ADP/HRIS data including but not limited to seniority reports, seniority certificates, change forms, upload files, hidden paychecks.Provide support for ADP/HRIS systems including researching HRIS problems, resolving unexpected results or process flaws and performing scheduled activities. Recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.Manage quarterly production and publishing of Division Newsletter.Write, maintain, distribute and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Assist in development of standard reports for ongoing business and compliance needs.Utilize a variety of software to design impactful visualizations and infographics for executive PowerPoint presentations and Division Newsletter.Maintain data integrity in systems by performing systems audits, analyzing data, correcting data as needed and establishing ongoing methods, procedures and processes to resolve operational and compliance issues and data integrity.Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HRIS system implementations, upgrades or patches. Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fix. Maintain HRIS system tables. Document process and results.Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy that must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.Serve as a key liaison with third parties and other stakeholders (e.g., payroll), including ensuring accurate integration of data and troubleshooting interface issues and resolving discrepancies.Facilitate communications around ADP self‑service, benefits, open enrollment, wellness, and other corporate human resource initiatives.Organize and maintain HR data on SharePoint.Assist with providing responses internal and external audit requests.Train team members on new processes/functionality and system implementations. Provide training to new system users.Maintain awareness of current trends in HRIS with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies. Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques. Through classes, reading, CBTs or other mechanisms, continuously increase both HR knowledge and HRIS application/tools knowledge.Assist the VP of HR on miscellaneous HR projects as needed.Other duties as assigned. Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related discipline and 3-5 years HRIS, HR or related administrative experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Successful project management experience is preferred.Advanced computer proficiency is required (ADP Workforce Now, Time and Attendance/HRIS preferred).Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules and benefits procedures in order to ensure correct implementation.Strong statistical, analytical and problem‑solving skills.Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. (Prior experience with Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Cloud InDesign or similar software preferred.)Previous experience with system implementations.Knowledge of basic principles and practices of human resources.Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential matters.Ability to research and solve problems with little supervision.Ability to quickly become and expert when learning new information.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency working with very large data sets, developing tools for streamlined analysis and creating reports that succinctly summarize complex concepts.Effective written and verbal communication skills.
