The Big Picture: Mortenson is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to master the customer journey and provide communication for each step: from awareness of business need, to guiding solutions with insights, to nurturing the sales cycle, to achieving preference for our brand, to repeat business and ultimately to customer advocacy. The primary objective is new business acquisition by supporting the sales efforts from our leadership team and Operating Group (OG) representatives. Demonstrating the capability to remain flexible, inventive, dedicated and efficient with a high level of integrity and confidentiality is vital for your success. High-levels of organization and communication ability are necessary as you will be interacting with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing, deadline driven environment.
What will you be doing? The coordinator is an important part of the team, as this role is responsible for positioning our services and equipping the BD and construction team members to successfully interact with targeted customers, from 1:1 meetings to speaking engagements to social media posts. Support project acquisition through business proposals:Produce high quality proposal and presentation content that differentiates Mortenson and demonstrates how we solve problems for our customerAssemble, design, and write marketing and communications collaterals, including newsletters, special event materials, electronic and print mailings, project signage, and brochuresManage social media efforts including creation and maintenance of Twitter and website contentPrepare and upload content for company intranet sitePerform and manage professional photos of Mortenson team members and projectsDevelop and manage internal communication plans
How will you succeed?Minimum two year's experience in MarketingExperience in construction, engineering or architectural industry preferredB2B experience requiredStrong business writing, presentation and communication skillsProficiency in Adobe Creative SuiteProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Salesforce.comDemonstrate problem-solving capabilityBusiness Services industry background preferredProven experience in the activities, programs and expectations as outlined aboveEducation:Associate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field Mortenson is an EOE/Affirmative Action/M/F/Veteran/Disabled employer.
