Row House is seeking an experienced studio General Manager to oversee sales and operations for our indoor rowing studio located in Manhattan, New York.Row House is a boutique rowing concept that strives to give people of all different fitness levels an efficient, high-cardio, full-body workout in less than one hour. Targeting the upper body, lower body and core all at once, we offer an energetic, endorphin-boosting workout in a safe, inspiring and inclusive environment.POSITION:The ideal studio General Manager will oversee all studio functionality, with a strong focus on sales and selling memberships. The ideal candidate will be able to create a positive experience for employees and use their skills to grow the community and business by integrating a seamless blend of customer service, front desk team efforts and facility operations.REQUIREMENTS:* 2+ years of fitness membership sale experience.* Confident in generating sales and training sales representatives.* Ability to work independently and collaborate with studio owner.* Ability to manage and drive all revenue streams from membership sales to retail.* Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills in person, on the telephone and via email.* Ability to excel in a fast-changing, diverse environment.* Ability to recognize areas of improvement and make changes using good judgment.* An affinity and passion for fitness.* Solid writing and grammar skills.* Highly organized, with the ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines.* Proficient in data management.* Professional, punctual, reliable and neat.* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.* Trustworthy and ability to handle confidential information.* Ability to work harmoniously with coworkers, clients and the general public.* Proficiency with computers and studio software.DUTIES* Generate leads through various channels, including grassroots marketing and networking.* Implement sales process to schedule prospects into intro classes.* Drive membership sales through outside sales and business development efforts.* Develop amazing community relationships, and facilitate outreach to the community and potential clients through all prospect stages.* Manage staff schedule.* Provide support and resources to ensure all front desk team members are empowered to provide customer service and troubleshoot following our company mission. Provide ongoing feedback to team members through evaluations and counsel.* Directly coordinate with all vendors, ensuring studio retail/products are stocked with accurate inventory counts.* Supervise sales representatives and instructors.* Ensure team understands the product and has the tools to drive client conversion and retention.* Hire and manage all instructors at the studios.* Demonstrate proficiency in ClubReady, to include revenue reports, attendance reports and more.* Independently make decisions related to high-level customer service.* Collect outstanding dues.* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the fitness studio, ensuring each class has an excellent experience.* Enforce Row House policies and procedures.* Ensure all forms, administrative supplies and studio literature are stocked and visible.* Schedule and participate in networking/community events and studio promotions.* Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio.* Any other duties as assigned.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:* This position offers a competitive base salary, based on experience and performance.* Commission paid on sales.* Opportunity to bonus, based on performance.* Company offered medical, dental 401(k), transportation benefits available* Unlimited growth potential within the company.
