Clinical Nurse Manager of Emergency Services

The Clinical Nurse Manager supports the Director of Nursing for Emergency Services by managing daily operations, staffing/scheduling, performance improvement, interviewing, documentation review, and Joint Commission Compliance. Well qualified candidates will have a minimum of five years of staff RN experience and at least one year of management experience in a hospital setting.
Boca Raton Regional Hospital's Emergency Department was updated in January 2013 and has 43 private treatment rooms with a remodeled triage area and nursing stations that provide greater efficiency and improved communications between caregivers, patients, and family members. The ED has approximately 46,000 patient visits per year and is equipped to treat all patient types and illnesses. Registered Nurses on staff in the BRRH Emergency Department can expect to have an average patient ratio of 4:1 and the department continues to have a very high patient satisfaction grade from Press Ganey.
Clinical Nurse Manager Qualifications:
Current Florida Registered Nurse Licensure or Compact RN License in good standing
Minimum of 5 years of Hospital RN experience in Emergency Services
One year of management experience in a Hospital Setting
Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Current BLS, ACLS and PALS issued by the American Heart Association
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Incumbent may be required to perform emergency duty before, during and/or beyond normal work hours or days in the event of an emergency, crisis situation or disaster (man-made or natural) including evacuation sites.
