Overall Responsibilities: Public Consulting Group is seeking a Fiscal Operations Specialist for the Indiana Vocational Rehabilitation Claim Payment System (CPS) based out of our Indiana office to serve as a key player in achieving business objectives within our Human Services practice area. The Fiscal Operations Specialist is expected to provide the project team with a variety of tasks including fiscal operation support and tier 2 customer support for vocational rehabilitation vendors utilizing the VR CPS. The individual will regularly support end-users from the vendor community as well as the state agency to achieve claiming and timely payment adjudication. Additionally, the individual will be asked to support various fiscal tasks and reporting for quality assurance checks. The individual will respond to all stakeholder inquiries in a professional, friendly and timely manner; and be expected to be public-service oriented. They will have excellent communication, organization and leadership skills and apply independent judgment to escalate calls. Specific Responsibilities: Specifically, the CPS - Fiscal Operations Specialist will: Learn the CPS and become a Subject Matter- Expert of the system Review and respond to calls and messages that are assigned for follow-up and/or escalation Participate and lead trainings to end users Be responsible for maintaining adequate records/documentation for audit and internal control purposes Responsible for learning Payment Rules of the system to ensure ability to respond to customer inquiries Regularly completing and analyzing reports Communicate with vendors or system users that do not have an active EFT or Wavier Direct Deposit Form; Troubleshoot issues with EFT bounce-back Support client/state invoicing through weekly invoice for approved claims from CPS and send to state- ensure funds are being moved weekly. Accounts Receivable management Managing 1099 processing Initiate and coordinate outbound calls to respond to inquiries, and to follow-up with previous contacts Communicate with Program Management on regular basis, ensuring program goals and tasks are met Provide suggestions for continuing improvement of program performance Participate in internal and external meetings related to program performance Assist with special projects as assigned
Required Skills: SQL Strong organizational skills Excellent attention to detail Excellent writing skills, including ability to compose reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Proven ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leadership, clients and customers Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of MS Windows, Excel and Word Thorough and unrelenting attention to detail Fluent communication and interpersonal skills with customers, business teams, and technical colleagues Experience with vocational rehabilitation services preferred Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Very strong customer service orientation Required Experience: Experience in health and/or human services provider payment operations, including potentially commercial insurance and Medicaid billing experience. Experience in help desk or call center environment, including application support, performance management and reporting Experience in health & human services Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Bachelor s degree is required, or High School diploma with at least 7 years relevant experience Preferred experience : Processing invoices and claims for services/goods provided by vendors Experience in capturing fund recover Experience with the Wells Fargo Payment Manager Creating invoices for fund requests Knowledge of the SDLC process, including but not limited to software application testing Experience using Salesforce #LI-MB1
