A day in the life…
-Provides quality radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations assists the physician in diagnosis and treatment of the patient. Implements and assists in duties enabling the Radiology Department to operate efficiently.
-Explanation of procedures to patients and answering any questions while upholding our Language of Caring standard.
-Preparation of examination rooms, and positioning patients for imaging exams.
-Proper and accurate documentation of patient exam information.
What we need (requirements)…
-American Registry of Radiologic Technologist-Radiology: ARRT (R)
-Technical/Certified from an Accredited Program
-Basic entry level competencies for a Radiographer
