Certified Medical Assistant needed for Medications for Addictions Treatment - Expansion (MAT - E) Project. The MAT-E project aims to expand access to quality, evidenced based MAT services and improve outcomes for individuals with Opioid Use Disorders in LA County, especially among vulnerable populations being released from LA County hospital emergency departments and/or jails. Candidate will provide medical, clinical, & administrative support, including taking patient vitals, assistance in medication self -administration, HIV/HEP screening, etc. Must be able to type, use Electronic Medical Record system, and be familiar with medical terminology and MAT medications. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal skills, good customer service skills, be able to multi task, be organized, and work well with patients and peers.

Job Specific Requirements Position Requirements

At least two (2) years of medical assistant experience in a clinic or hospital. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant certification program.

Experience in MAT program preferred.
