Clinical expert responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the Stroke Program. Serves as a clinical role model, educator, and liaison for the stroke team, hospital staff and community. Collaborates with the medical director and program leadership to facilitate and promote improved stroke patient outcomes.
Required Minimum Education Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing required. Current GA RN license required. Certification in neuroscience nursing is preferred. ASLS certification preferred.
Required Minimum Experience Minimum of three years recent acute care clinical experience, plus teaching experience in the clinical and community setting required. Three years of neurology experience required.
Required Minimum Skills Strong analytical, investigative skills, program/protocol development and implementation experience necessary.
