As a Laborer Foreman, your primary duties include coordinating crews and preparing, handling, and supplying materials used by other crafts.
Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work proceduresSupervise and coordinate activities of laborers and their assigned rolesInterpret specifications, blueprints and job ordersInterpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulationsEstablish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge capacities of equipment and assigned personnelStudy/analyze in schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of jobAnalyze and resolve work problemsMaintain time recordsMay make cost estimate for contractsUse logical step-by-step procedures in workPlan work and solve problemsMake decisions based on measurable informationMay operate machinery Provides work direction to laborer I, II, Journeyman, Apprentice, and HelpersWorks according to standard, detailed instructions and established, well-defined proceduresDetermines work method from alternativeWorks under broad assignmentAll other duties as assigned All team members are expected to demonstrate the following characteristics: Cooperate with others when in a team environmentAccept direction from supervisorsFollow work rules and proceduresPunctual and consistent attendanceAccept constructive feedback
