Java Developer-FX Trading

Java Developer vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.

Your tasks:

• Working as a Java Developer using Java as well as implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Analyzing, designing and conceptualizing business requirements
• Introducing new technical and methodological impulses
• Optimizing the interaction between development, testing, operations and monitoring
• Ensuring highly scalable, distributed, and resilient systems through modern software engineering patterns

Your experience/knowledge:

• 6+ years of practical experience in Java Back End development in a financial environment
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, teamcity or gitlab
• A thorough understanding of distributed systems along with expertise in SpringBoot
• Well versed with horizontally scalable architectures and Linux environments
• Knowhow of messaging systems, like Redis, Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Higher degree in IT or similar professional experience

Your soft skills:

• Team player with excellent analytical and communication skills
• Passion for software combined with a structured working approach
