My client, a leading consultancy in the cyber security sector is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to join them as their workload is rapidly growing. You will embark on a number of high-profile high projects as a team.

You will be expected to deliver to both internally and externally an optimized service, quality and cost offering to the Procurement Manager.

A few of the main duties include.
* Travelling to two of our main clients 2-3 days every other week
* Leading and managing the procurement activity for bids and projects.
* Manage all subcontract activities with technical team, including negotiation, implementation, and on-going monitoring of performance against targets of cost and delivery, sticking to all policies and governance in Procurement function.
* Undertake supplier improvement plans where performance issues are identified.
* Oversee the Identification, assessment, and management of subcontracted risk in support of associated bids/projects.
* Undertake vendor assessment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in
* Practical bid works
* Previous Procurement and Subcontract experience in an IT environment
* Conducting supplier reviews
* Subcontract commercial management of large prime contract solutions within HMG and commercial business sectors.
* Dealing with commercial challenges
* Stakeholder management at all seniority levels
* Financial management experience of complex subcontracts.
* IACCM/CIPS
* Ability to drive supplier analysis, evaluation, selection and maintain supplier strategy.

Due to the security of this role you will need to hold a British passport and an active SC clearance.
