Software Developer - ReactJs and Python

Henderson Scott is urgently looking to engage the services of a Software Developer to work for an initial 6 month contract, outside IR35 with potential extension. This role is fully remote, but candidates must be UK based.

The successful contractor must have sufficient cloud experience, ideally with GCP.

Essential skills, knowledge, and behaviours:

• A collaborative way of working with product managers, UX designers, other developers, and the application architect.
• Significant and demonstrable experience of designing and developing the Front End for enterprise-scale web applications.
• Fluency with Next JS/React JS, Typescript, and CSS and frameworks such as TailwindCSS,
• Fluency with Python, able to work with Wagtail headless
• Able to use docker and work within a container based architecture
• Understand and practice SCRUM methodologies and behaviours
• Able to understand and debug problems as they arise during deploys
• Able to create responsive, multilingual front-ends that are fully WCAG 2.1 AA compliant.
• Familiarity of integrating with REST-based APIs
• Be able to work with GitHub standard Gitflow and assist in peer reviews
