Linux Engineer (Ubuntu, Puppet) Fully Remote

For our international, high tech client in Eindhoven, We are searching for a Linux Engineer with strong sills on Ubuntu and Puppet.

Together wity our team you are going te build a managed workplace place ( workplaces).

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day support to the Architects and Project Managers to deliver the required configurations.

• Support the Architects by configuring, implementing, and documenting solutions in line with the relevant high level and low level designs.

Experience

• Solid Linux admin, knows his/her ways around in enterprise environments, networking especially.

• Not just Operations, but also plan and build experience.

• Can code and manage infrastructure at scale in programmatic way.

• Experience with Linux Desktop management, especially Ubuntu.

• Skilled in writing and managing quality configuration management code, Puppet experience is mandatory.

• Use version control (git), is familiar with automations around code (Jenkins, GitLab pipelines, etc.).

• Knows what API is and how to use it to integrate systems.
