First Aider for International Children

Contract: 5 1/2 weeks from 6th July - 7th August
Hours: 48 hours per week
Pay: £2,750 - for 5 weeks plus 3 day induction - accommodation and meals provided

THE BENEFITS

• Salary consists of - 5 weeks pay of average 48 hours per week + 3 days pay for Staff Induction + 1 days pay for Student Welcome/Orientation.

• Salary included 5 hours per week holiday pay.

• Contract includes - 4 days off (4 x 24hr periods off the rota) in 4 weeks.

• First Aid Training 3 Day St John s Ambulance Course we will schedule and pay for training in Sussex prior to the job, to fit your availability in June.

• We place great emphasis on child protection and safeguarding, and we need individuals who share our commitment to the well-being of young learners.

• To ensure the highest standards of safety, a police/criminal record check is mandatory to assess suitability for working with children.

• You must be available to undertake a 3-day First Aid at Work course, enabling you to provide the best care possible to our students.

• As we are unable to obtain work permits or visas, possession of a UK/EU passport or UK visa is a prerequisite for joining our team.

• Relevant training, qualifications, or certificates in a related field will bolster your candidacy, as will any prior experience working with children or international individuals.

Now, it's essential to note a few things:

Our Head Office is located in Brighton; but our Residential Summer School is situated out in the Sussex countryside at Hurst College in Hurstpierpoint.

We offer international children an English language and social programme throughout July and August, students arriving for 1, 2, 3 or 4 week courses.

Our courses for children aged 8 - 17, ensure parents a safe environment managed by a family company.
