Onsite AV Room Support Engineer

Duration - 1 year contract

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Basic AV room equipment setup and support
  • Validate device registration to On-premise or Cloud services
  • Troubleshoot in terms of room equipment physical validation on power on status, settings as per standards, availability of network from access switch
  • Validation of room equipment accessories as per the frequency agreed mutually between client and Service Provider [Mics, remote display cables, wireless sharing dongles, touch panels]
  • End user support on room device usage for controls and to initiate/join a meeting and leave a meeting
  • L1 troubleshooting on end user laptop for Meeting application crash/Telephony application crash
  • Telephony and Meeting application related troubleshooting and debug collection from End user laptop and or from Meeting room device
  • Coordinate with L2 resolver group and with OEM/Service provider
  • High touch support for executives for awareness and training on how to use the features
  • Standby support for high profile meetings
  • Provide hands and feet support during maintenance window, post and pre-maintenance checks/test calls
  • Assist user with local desktop/laptop issues

Good To Have

  • Troubleshoot LAN/Connectivity issues with local Laptop/Desktop
  • Windows Client-Side Build issue troubleshooting and liaising with SOE (Imaging) engineer
  • Assist user with local desktop issues
  • Assist user with Printer mapping
  • Provide offices, stock space, protected area, and technical rooms within client facility when requested and agreed.
  • Provide Security and Physical Access instructions related to the client locations
  • Comply with agreed Security and Physical Access instructions provided by the client.
  • Conduct themselves in a business-like and professional manner at all times.
  • Be familiar with local client HR practices (such as dress codes) and observe as appropriate.
  • Adhere to client policies including to its data privacy, and computing policy and non-disclosure policies.
  • Complete On-Site induction process provided by client.
  • Coordinate with 3rd Party Providers (eg Hardware maintenance Contractor, network connected printer or multifunction printer Contractor, Telco contractor) to perform On-site work where required
  • Provide oversight and guidance for Desktop Client issue and locally installed Apps where required excluding business applications
  • Coordinate with Third Party Vendors for service to Assets includes:

Scheduling service call(s) Arranging/providing location access (including outside business hours)
