Finance Business Partner

Northamptonshire client is looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner to work with them for a 12 month commitment. This role will operate on a hybrid work pattern so 3 days in & 2 days remote.

The purpose of this role is to provide management accounting support for the companies various divisions to support their teams to build budgets & forecasts, assess performance, understand variances against budget.

Key responsibilities:

• To work in partnership with functional budget holders to review, monitor & challenge the monthly performance of their areas.
• To support stakeholders with the annual budget & forecasting processes, to achieve targets set, & highlight risks & opportunities. Challenge accordingly to ensure realistic budgets are set & ownership is taken by stakeholders for the final numbers
• To be responsible for the preparation & analysis of the monthly management accounts, working within tight deadlines, to provide accurate infortmaiton.
• Build strong relationships with all teams you support to fully understand the financial & non-financial challenges.
• Lead, manage financial support on projects & operational development plans.
• Manage & undertake month end close
• Manage a small team

This role is being recruited on a 12 month fixed term contract. The company works to a hybrid work pattern of ideally 3 office days & 2 remote. They have free parking, a gym & enhanced holidays.
