Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a talented Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic team at a leading global law firm.

London based- hybrid working model

You will play a crucial role in the planning, implementation, and support of their core systems. In this position, you will collaborate closely with various internal teams and external technology consultants to ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of their IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with service providers and relevant 3rd party software/hardware vendors as needed.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Manage operational incidents to ensure prompt resolution and minimal disruption to the business.
• Assist in resolving escalated support calls and critical problems.
• Foster teamwork and cooperation in day-to-day activities to contribute to the success of colleagues and other IT teams.
• Participate in conference calls with global teams, accommodating varying time zones.

Skills:

• Very strong understanding and experience of Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, 2019, 2022 Clustering, and Active Directory.
• Experience of VMware virtual server technologies (vSphere ESXi 7.x, and SRM)
• Experience with Cisco UCS (C class and B Class)
• Strong understanding of SAN technologies, NetApp preferred
• Experience using powershell to script and automate
• Experience with Azure and AWS IAAS
• Understanding of backup technologies, CommVault/Cohesity preferred
• Experience anti-virus solutions
• Experience of MS System Centre Operations Manager (SCOM)
• Experience of MS System Centre Configuration Manager (SCCM)
