Senior Cloud Security Consultant - AWS - Permanent

Coventry building society are currently looking for a Senior Cloud Security Consultant with experience in cloud migration projects to join the company on a permanent basis. This will be a hybrid role, with one day a week in the Coventry office.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate AWS Cloud Security Consultant to join us as we increase our adoption of cloud resources and embark on a digitisation cloud transformation journey. This is an exciting opportunity to have an impact from the beginning of our transformation and shape the future of Coventry Building Society for years to come. This role is not solely about having the right security background, it requires the successful candidate to work collaboratively and with pragmatism when supporting fast-paced delivery teams. This is an outstanding opportunity to join CBS as a Cloud Security Consultant to work on an enterprise scale AWS, Defender & IAM programme. The Security Consultants provide a combination of: technical design process design compliance implementation using entrepreneurialism, innovation creativity across major cloud security architecture projects. We are at the cutting edge of cyber security and emerging technologies and are looking for Security Consultants to join the team. Hours: 35 - Mon to Friday - 9am to 5pm

About You:

Technical Skill set Required:
Strong knowledge of the cloud security landscape, specifically AWS with threat modelling experience as well as ideally having experience on cloud migration projects.
Experienced in Platform 365's cyber security services
Experience with the following E5 Security services: MDCA, MDE, MDI, DC/DLP, of international information security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, COBIT.
Relevant security qualifications like CISSP, CISM highly beneficial but not essential.
Strong stakeholder management and customer facing/consultancy skills.
Previous experience carrying out a leadership role with formulating/applying security best practices and industry standards derived from threat analysis to identify handling controls then utilising a combination of people, process, and technology to deliver demonstrable increased security maturity.
