Finance Business Partner
Salary: £80,000
Hybrid working
Location: Heathrow
A worldwide Cargo/Aviation business are looking to expand their finance team and are seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their team.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone with experience as a Finance Business Partner in the Freight industry.
In this role you will report to the UK Finance Director and Transactional Finance Manager overseeing the management accountant. You will be responsible for the financial control and reporting of your business stream, including tax, statutory and audit responsibilities as well as owning the budgeting and quarterly forecasting for the businesses.
Your typical duties will include:
- Working closely with the Finance Director, Commercial Director, Operations Director and Finance Manager
- Weekly "monthly trend" reporting via MA's and operational team and monthly analysis & station performance discussion with Regional GM
- Creation and review of Monthly Finance Packs for UK MD and UK FD
- Along with the MA's creating and driving annual budget & quarterly forecasts
- Managing the capital expenditure and commercial pricing review and approval processes
- Identifying risks & opportunities
- Supporting Commercial team with analysis & reporting
- Working closely with and supporting the Operations Director and location managers
- Project support - assisting as required on new business opportunities & projects
Key Skills:
- Qualified ACCA or CIMA with an underlying degree in finance/accounting
- Multi-site and multi-P&L
- Several years of experience as a FPA Manager, commercial finance manager or Finance Business Partner
- Background in transactional heavy organisations eg Freight/Aviation industry
- Excel and modelling
- Ability to deliver against strict deadlines
- Strong leadership attributes with process
- Ability to foster strong teamwork amongst the team
- Limited UK travel as required
