We are working with a global speciality insurance and reinsurance company focused on underwriting expertise, enhanced by data and technology to deliver significant shareholder value.

Based in Richmond, VA and reporting to the Global Head of IT Operations, we are looking for an Infrastructure Engineering Team Lead to further strengthen our team, to achieve the goal of running and enhancing our Microsoft Windows estate using automation and emerging technologies.

What you will do

• Responsible for the administration and automation of the Microsoft Windows landscape
• Assist in the automation of end user computers and software deployments using Microsoft Autopilot
• Responsible for maintaining the integrity and performance of company assets, including patching the Windows Server and Client infrastructure
• Install, upgrade, and manage end user computers using automation tools such as Manage Engine and Microsoft Azure Intune to meet company standards
• Diagnose and troubleshoot Windows server issues
• Provide support globally across the development, test & production environments
• Incident management and operations of the IT landscape
• Support the Citrix environment
• Management of data leak prevention and management in Office 365
• Management of insider risk management in Office 365
• Management of purview in Office 365
• Management of Microsoft Identity Governance across the Enterprise
• Liaise with business management and stake holder to manage and address the business operations needs
• Be available for on-call support as needed

What you require for the role

• Demonstrable hands-on technical experience administrating Microsoft Server Operating Systems, Windows 10/11, and Active Directory
• Experienced in leading a team to strive for improvements across the enterprise
• Expert in administrating Microsoft Azure Cloud AD & local Active Directory
• Expert in Microsoft & an automation first mentality
• Expert installing and maintaining Windows 10/11 Office 365 suite
• A solid foundation in information technology, including the principles and practices of systems design, administration, maintenance, and functions of an Enterprise IT Department
• Expert in managing virtual Windows Servers & an expert in PowerShell Scripting
• Expert in automation of end user computer deployments
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or technology related field preferred but not essential
