A Cloud Security Architect is needed to provide innovative cloud solutions for our client in the finance sector. This Hybrid role requires you to be on site in either the Manchester or London office 2 days per week and will pay up to £90,000 DOE. Our client is offering a benefits package to be discussed on an individual basis, and this does include a financial bonus.
As a Cloud Security Architect, your primary focus will be to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients' cloud environments, while also adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements. You will work closely with our clients, internal teams, and technology partners to assess their security needs, design appropriate solutions, and oversee their successful implementation.

As a Cloud Security Architect, your primary focus will be to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our clients' cloud environments, while also adhering to regulatory and compliance requirements. You will work closely with our clients, internal teams, and technology partners to assess their security needs, design appropriate solutions, and oversee their successful implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement secure cloud architectures for financial institutions, leveraging cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and technology partners to understand security requirements and translate them into effective cloud security solutions.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Implement and maintain security controls and processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Drive the adoption of DevSecOps practices and integrate security into the entire software development life cycle.
- Evaluate, select, and implement tools and processes for change management and continuous monitoring of cloud environments.
- Provide guidance and support to development teams in implementing secure coding practices and resolving security-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in cloud security and financial technology.
Essentials:
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) certification is required.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and experience implementing security in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Familiarity with financial industry regulations and standards, such as PCI DSS and GDPR
- Proven experience implementing tools and processes for change management and continuous monitoring in cloud environments.
