Salary: 60k - 70k per annum

We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity for a L3 Unix Support Engineer to join a very successful international banking client of ours. This role would support the bank's internal infrastructure, Unix, VMWARE and DBs & work on new infrastructure enhancements to improve the operational process within the bank.

Responsibilities:

• Research & Development of all infrastructure software
• Investigate infrastructure solutions within the bank's strategy
• Design & implement infrastructure solutions aligned with the company's strategies
• Database administration
• VMWARE administration
• SAN administration
• AD/DNS administration
• Update and amend existing databases
• Recommend upgrades for Infrastructure migration to new versions

Required:

• Linux
• Unix Scripting
• AIX
• HMC
• IBM PowerVM
• Knowledge of Unix licensing (AIX/Linux)
• DevOps

Desirable:

• Windows
• AD and DNS
• Database
• VMWARE (working knowledge)
• SAN Infrastructure (Working knowledge)
