REMOTE Developer (Software Engineer Programmer Python JavaScript AWS GCP Azure Cloud Agile Apache Airflow Ignite PostgreSQL React Node TypeScript Finance Front Office Trading Investment Technology Manager Asset Management Buy Side) required by our asset management client in London.

You MUST have the following:

• Strong experience as a Python Developer/Programmer/Software Engineer
• Excellent Python
• Good JavaScript
• AWS, GCP or Azure cloud exposure
• An ambition to learn new technology
• Agile

The following is DESIRABLE, not essential:

• Apache Airflow or Ignite
• PostgreSQL
• React, Node, TypeScript

Role: REMOTE Python Developer (Software Engineer Programmer Python JavaScript AWS GCP Azure Cloud Agile Apache Airflow Ignite PostgreSQL React Node TypeScript Finance Front Office Trading Investment Technology Manager Asset Management Buy Side) required by our asset management client in London. You will join a team of 5 experienced Python developers who build a portfolio management trading system across multiple asset classes. This is a core product that adjacent teams then tailor for specific asset classes and derivatives. It ingests data from multiple internal and external sources. Therefore, any experience with AWS Aurora, Glue, Athena or Apache Ignite or Apache Airflow would be extremely desirable. As would gRPC or protobuf. These are not essential however.

There is a team that's dedicated to the Front End but you may, nonetheless, still do some Front End work which would involve React, TypeScript and Node. You must have, therefore, some experience with JavaScript. React, Node and TypeScript are not essential. Similarly, AWS is only desirable but you should have worked with cloud of some form. PostgreSQL is also desirable.

There is flexible working from home. There is only a requirement to go into the office 1-2 times a month. Although, you can go into the office more frequently than that.

Hours are otherwise flexible. They are 9-5 but can be shifted around as long as the work is done.

Salary: £80k - £100k + 15% Bonus + 10% Pension
