Head of Procurement/Senior Category Manager/Commercialisation Manager

Fantastic opportunity to join a nationally recognised local authority to assist the current Head of Procurement with delivering a number of current and upcoming projects.

The successful candidate will:

• Deputise for Head of Procurement Contracts & Commercialisation across all disciplines
• Lead the Commercial Team (2 posts) through existing projects to successful conclusion on priority areas
• Lead business case development for commercial initiatives & implement across relevant council services
• Must have experience operating in a local government context & successful procurement/commercial project implementation
• Must have commercial acumen & ability to identify large scale opportunities that deliver efficiencies/savings/income
• Must have experience of alternative models of delivery (outsourcing, insourcing, LATC)
