Role Objective: The Finance Analyst will act as a provider of financial information within the Finance function in its role as financial custodian to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide timely, reliable, and relevant financial information to the finance and business stakeholders.
• Support the system inputs for budgets, forecasts, and other financial plans for local and corporate stakeholder review.
• Providing financial information and appropriate explanations to assist key stakeholders to understand financial figures within context of their role.
• Support the maintenance of financial systems integrity on an ongoing basis.
• Support the maintenance and accuracy of the relevant sections of the balance sheet and incomes statement on a ongoing basis.
• Developing technical knowledge and experience of current accounting and financial practices to comply with internal and external accounting practices and requirements.
• Actively member of the Financed team to share knowledge and best practice as appropriate to ensure adequate cover and increase knowledge within the team.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Functional Area specific experience in a commercially driven, customer facing role.
• Accounting systems knowledge and experience eg, SAP, intermediate or advanced MS Office applications experience.
• UK & German GAAP knowledge.
• Enjoys working as part of a team.
• Pro-active attitude.
• Strong communication and presentation skills
