Senior Java Developer

The Senior Java Developer will play an active part in the company's success, shaping the department's best practices and working on enterprise-grade software systems. • Promote the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications
• Ensure effective communication between team members and other areas of the company

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer, a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, and extensive experience designing and developing enterprise-grade software of large scale, high availability, and geographically distributed cloud applications. Additional qualifications include:

• In-depth technical knowledge of software architecture and a pragmatic approach to build on from the existing platform whilst exploring and implementing new technologies contributing to building a technical strategy that will take the existing architecture to the next level by a well-defined roadmap
• Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including Kanban and Scrum
• Experience in development using Java, JavaScript, React.js, and Node.js
• Experience in the design and implementation of solutions, preferably in Service and API-led architecture (including exposure to Containerization and Orchestration, Microservices and distributed application frameworks, RESTful API, Elastic Stack, Database (MySQL, MSSQL, MongoDB), and Microsoft Azure)
