Proxy Policy Specialist - 6 months+ contract (Inside IR35) £400-£500

Hybrid - 2 days in Canary Wharf a week

5 years+ commercial experience

Are you an experienced Proxy Policy Specialist looking to broaden your horizons in a multi-national Bank? If so, this could certainly be an opportunity worth considering.

Working with some of the biggest names in the industry, this exciting major banking client, has made it very clear that their rapid expansion is not over - in fact the business has committed to a significant head count increase and are looking for an experienced Proxy Policy Specialist to join their team of passionate and highly-skilled professionals who will be responsible for migrating away from a Bluecoat Proxy Estate, to a mixture of SaaS & Virtual Proxy solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Review, analyze and document the current baseline and develop the target technology posture.
• Perform gap analysis of the current baseline policy against the target policy.
• Providing consultation and subject matter expertise to the organization on Cybersecurity issues
• Implementing and maintaining an effective policy model across all regions, global businesses, and global functions.
• Researching, engaging, and managing third party vendors where relevant to support functional objectives.

Key experience:

• 5+ years of experience focused on all aspects of Proxy policy, from design, testing, and implementation, to policy certification and effectiveness review aligned to our URL and Web Content filtering controls
• 5+ years experience with Bluecoat ProxySG appliances
• Experience of SaaS Proxy solutions desirable but not essential (ie NetSkope, SkyHigh, Zscaler)
• Scripting ability in python, Perl, or alternative language is desirable.
