An exciting British online fashion brand is looking to hire an IT Support Engineer - Online Retail, to help grow the IT support function in conjunction with the growth of their fast paced, online fashion retail business.

Description

The successful IT Support Engineer - Online Retail will be the 'go to' providing support to employees and will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure including:

• Assisting with systems administration tasks such as creating user accounts, managing access rights, and monitoring systems and network performance
• Responding to technical issues and providing solutions in a timely manner
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and peripherals
• Troubleshooting software and hardware issues and working with vendors for escalation
• Providing end-user support for software applications, email, and other IT related issues
• Documenting and tracking all support requests and resolutions
• Assisting with maintaining IT inventory and asset tracking
• Performing routine maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and security patches
• Participating in testing and evaluation of new software and hardware solutions

Profile

As the key and only IT Support Engineer - Online Retail, you will have:

Tech Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in an IT support role
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking principles
• Experience of Microsoft 365
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, and other enterprise-level software applications is a bonus

Soft Skills:

• A proactive attitude with a curiosity to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes whilst challenging the status quo
• A propensity to initiate change and process improvement in a fast-paced start-up environment
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• A interest and/or passion in the retail industry

Job Offer

The successful IT Support Engineer - Online Retail will need to be available to work 9-5 (Monday to Friday) on site in the Central Manchester.
