Job Title: Authentication Web Service Architect
Location: Remote
Salary: £70k - £75k plus £5,400 car allowance and 3% flex account

Candidates must be willing and eligible to go through SC and DV security clearance for this role

I am looking for an Authentication Web Service Architect for a client of mine who are a leading IT Systems Integrator operating within the UK defence sector.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the creation and implementation of end-to-end solution/technical design and ensuring alignment with the strategic technical architecture
* As a Authentication Web Service Architect you will be responsible for the solution/design process is adhered to by all SMEs
* As a Authentication Web Service Architect you will be responsible for leading technical SMEs to ensure: a fully collaborative approach to design is guaranteed
all areas of concern contribute to the design process from the earliest point

Experience:
* As a Authentication Web Service Architect you will design/Implementation of web service infrastructure, with a focus on Proxy & authentication/authorisation
* Working with web applications & web app designers to integrate federated authentication
* Identity federation - OpenID
* Reverse & Forward Proxies including Apache/Squid
* As a Authentication Web Service Architect you will have thorough knowledge of PKI/X509 certs including CRLs, OCSP and use for client authentication
