IT Capability and Performance Specialist/Learning & Development Specialist

My Leeds based client is looking to recruit an experienced Capability and Performance Specialist whose focus will be to develop the capabilities of a large IT department to deliver on their digital transformation strategies.
Within this role, you will be tasked with maturing a service/processes from one of a traditional Learning and Development activity to developing performance based capability, focused on developing high performing teams/individuals capable of delivering on the IT strategy. This will involve the facilitation of a culture where individuals are committed to driving forward and promoting continuous on the job and self learning

Within this role, the IT Capability & Performance Specialist will:
Work closely with the IT Capability & Performance Manager to deliver the overall IT Capability & Performance plan
Drive forward a digitally enabled culture of sharing just in time, just enough and just for me content' and driving supportive and meaningful collaborations across our IT community to better understand requirements and connect teams.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the international IT department
Ensure functional or departmental learning plans and reviews take place
Facilitate (not deliver) all aspects of learning across the International IT department Design scalable learning solutions that foster a continuous learning culture
Create the building blocks for just in time, just enough and just for you learning
Facilitate leadership and managerial skills that drive behavioural and cultural change
Measure and report on ongoing capability development and identify gaps within the IT department

Skills wise, the IT Capability & Performance Specialist will possess demonstrable expertise in the application of adult learning principles within a complex IT/Change environment. This will encompass performance based learning to support the delivery of global IT transformation programmes.
