Your new role

As the IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's hardware, software, and computer networks. Your primary focus will be on monitoring and managing service delivery through the service desk. You will have extensive experience in IT Service Delivery, performance management, network administration, and system security. Ensuring data protection compliance and effectively managing multiple projects will also be key aspects of your role

What you'll need to succeed

To qualify for this position, you should hold ITIL 4 foundation certification (or relevant experience in an ITIL environment), have demonstrable technical competency around CISCO Systems or hold a CCNA, and possess a university degree or equivalent industry experience. Strong customer-facing skills, problem-solving aptitude, leadership abilities, and familiarity with networks, cloud computing, and data protection regulations are essential. Ideally you will have experience with system installations, configuration, and analysis in an 'always-on' manufacturing environment. This role requires Rotherham-based work with occasional travel to other sites.
