This is an enviable role where you can design/build and architect for some of the largest enterprise solutions in the market. A role in which a passionate Solution or Enterprise Architect could bring all his/her experience to programmes of great complexity yet have the support/empowerment to control them. We require a natural leader who is passionate and adept in complex digital systems architecture and navigation. This would ideally be an experienced architect looking to move into the CTO space. Running large programmes, providing IT governance, assurance and shaping is a difficult task without adequate support.

You need

- Strong large-scale Digital programme delivery experience

- Deep experience as a Solution/Enterprise Architect with management of Digital solutions

- Leadership experience of both technologists and business communities.

- Deep passion for the future particularly on how the evolution of Digital solutions and IT strategy as a delivery service

- You will be responsible for using technology to help achieve business objectives with a focus on delivery and generating value.

- Defining, owning and implementing a coherent technology vision and supporting strategies for both bespoke and packaged solutions.

- Owning and managing technical roadmaps, including the technical obsolescence roadmap and trigger associated tasking.

- Be responsible for technical governance including establishing policy and principles.

- Providing technical advice to the Executive as required.

- Providing technical support to delivery scrum teams

- Own the ecosystem of supported technologies and propose opportunities for greater exploitation, investment or rationalisation.

- Defining, implementing and evolving the operating model - ensuring successful delivery
