AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for someone to join a fast-paced team as a AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer.

This client is based within Salisbury, flexible working environment offering hybrid working. During your settling in period you will need to be on site 3 days a week, thereafter they are very flexible and are happy for people to be on site as little as once a month or even less.

You will be working for an MSP with clients in multiple industries from Medical, Legal, Financial, Design etc. The direction of this role will be flexible, should you wish to progress and move into management there is a clear Pathway for this or if you prefer to stay fully hands-on this is also an option.

Essential experience/skill set:

• AWS - RDS, EFS, EC2, EBS, Aurora, VPC etc
• Linux/Unix (eg CentOS, Redhat, Debian, Ubuntu)
• Infrastructure as Code - Terraform (CloudFormation or other similar considered)
• Scripting: BASH needed (Python/Ruby beneficial but not essential)
• Orchestration tools: Ansible preferred

Desirable experience/skill set:

• AWS Architect Associate/AWS Cloud Practitioner qualification
• Azure/Windows beneficial but not required
• Github/Gitlab
• Routing, switching, VPN's & Firewalls
