You will be an important part of our onsite support team in a multi-faceted role that combines strategic advice, account management, project work and 'hands-on' desk side IT support to some fantastic companies doing amazing things.

MSP based in Cambridge who support clients with outsourced IT around the UK and abroad. They provide bespoke onsite & remote support to exciting, high growth and ground-breaking SMEs in sectors including biotechnology, life sciences and finance. The Company continues to grow, and they are actively looking for talented engineers to join the team

The role

You will be supporting typically 4-6 clients, working on site an average of 4 days a week

You will be working an average week of

2-3 days in London.

1-2 days in Cambridge/Stevenage/Potters Bar

1 day from home or the office

You will quickly be up and running with onsite client support, with assistance from our head office service desk team.

You will be part of delivering varied and interesting IT projects.

You will be providing guidance and advice for clients.

What we need from you

Excellent and proven technical skills within a Window environment, Active Directory Management and some exposure to VMware, Cloud Computing (AWS and Azure), Veeam and Storage Platforms (NAS and SAN) would be useful.

The ability to build strong relationships and gain the trust of the clients you visit.

Excellent customer skills: you must be a people person with patience and confident communication skills.

Great problem-solving skills with the ability to see the challenge through.
