Digital Learning Partner

Allen Lane is delighted to be supporting Southwark Council in their search for Digital Learning Partner to join their ambitious and forward-thinking Technology and Digital Service. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop Southwark's E-learning approach to enhance and support a blended learning and digital offering.

The role

As a Digital Learning Partner you will:

• Understand the technical specialisms around digital learning and translate these into short to medium-term programmes.
• Advise senior managers on the best digital approaches to drive culture change
• Develop new initiatives and online material using the council's LMS to deliver, evaluate and analyse data
• Evaluate the suitability and effectiveness of different types of online content
• Deliver bespoke training around new technology and the O365 Roadmap
• Schedule and allocate learning and development programmes
• Participate in discussions with organisations to implement learning and development programmes. Maximise the use of digital technology to achieve success. Develop learning elements on social network channels.

Key Skills required

As a Digital Learning Partner you will:

• Have significant knowledge of modern and blended learning
• Understand the importance of digital skills training and delivering digital training programmes across large organisations
• A proven track record in applying digital learning solutions that have supported behaviour changes
• Experience in managing and developing E-learning content including course material design.
• Have a background in digital and technological training
• The ability to use Canva, Adobe or other platforms to create presentations and training content
• Strong time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines

What you get in return

A salary between £40,503 - £47,706 plus a range of excellent benefits including 28 days annual leave and the Local Government Pensions Scheme.
