Your new company

A large, publicly funded Research institute is looking for a Sitecore developer to join their Web team to manage Sitecore and .NET web applications.

Reporting to the Lead Web Developer, the postholder will guide the development life cycle of Sitecore websites, system integrations and Internet applications. The successful candidate will contribute to establishing solutions architectures, company code standards, best practices, and operational procedures.

Your new role

• Collaborate with stakeholders, project manager, and developers to define and deliver functional and non-functional requirements.
• Provide technical Sitecore expertise on complex tasks and business requirements.
• To obtain high-quality deliverables, support software development activities using code reviews and collaborative programming practises.
• Content serialization in Sitecore-based projects.
• Ensure that Sitecore and .NET deliverables are delivered on schedule with high technical quality.
• Ensure that the architecture, design, implementation, security requirements, and best practises of the Royal Society are followed when developing Sitecore and .NET applications.
• Control the CI/CD pipelines for Sitecore and .NET applications in Azure DevOps

What you'll need to succeed

• The ideal Developer will have extensive knowledge of Sitecore (ideally Version 10.x), .NET Framework, C#, API and Web UI technologies. It is essential that you can demonstrate that you are skilled in managing the software development life cycle with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation, and PowerShell Scripting.
• Extensive knowledge of the Helix architecture and a 9 or 10 on the SXA Sitecore Developer certification.
• Design, develop, implement, test and support new Sitecore 10 features defined by business project team.
• Participate in discussions with the stakeholders to refine the requirements.
• Collaborate with the rest of the development team, providing assistance as needed.
• Multi-language programming pro (C#, MVC, JavaScript, Front End frameworks, SQL)
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code using C#/.NET, PowerShell and JavaScript
• Knowledge of application architectures and design patterns on a large Sitecore website
• Experienced in Sitecore integration with CRM, third-party tools, and APIs.
• Experienced in the Azure DevOps pipelines and Azure CLI CI/CD
• Extensive knowledge of RESTful services and to integrate with CRM API
• Sitecore data migration and automate process using PowerShell Scripting.
