Document Control Engineer - Electric Power Transmission

My client is a large energy company, and they are currently looking for a Document Control Engineer to join their team, and assist with a mass data clean up across hundreds of locations and a large number of drawings.

This energy provider currently owns and maintains the 132kV, 275kV and 400kV electricity transmission network which comprises of underground cables, overhead wooden poles, steel towers and electricity substations, and it extends over a quarter of the UK land mass across some of its most challenging terrain.

Some of your responsibilities in this role would include:

• Ensuring accurate and complete data and information exchange among various stakeholders across various platforms and reporting tools such as Maximo, Vault, GIS and Regulatory Reporting and Benchmarking.
• Ensuring compliance with ISO 55000/9001 - information handling and storage of data
• Predominantly administration of document management and supporting internal and external stakeholders with asset management records including third party enquiries
• Document control and updates including quality control of existing records and handover of new projects

In order to be successful in this role, you will have hands on experience of working Autodesk vault/similar systems and:

• Experience of high voltage networks
• Flawless attention to detail
• Master Drawing experience
• Experienced document controller
