Job Summary: As an EPOS Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining EPOS systems for our clients. Your expertise and technical acumen will play a crucial role in creating seamless and reliable transactional experiences for businesses and their customers. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of EPOS technologies, hardware, software, and integration processes.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients, project managers, and software developers to gather requirements and design customized EPOS solutions tailored to their business needs.
• Develop and implement EPOS software applications, ensuring efficient and reliable operation across various hardware platforms.
• Configure and integrate EPOS systems with existing systems, such as inventory management, customer relationship management (CRM), and payment gateways.
• Perform hardware installations, including touchscreens, printers, scanners, and other peripherals, ensuring proper connectivity and functionality.
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance to identify and resolve any software or hardware issues, ensuring optimal system performance.
• Provide technical support to clients and end-users, addressing inquiries, troubleshooting problems, and delivering timely resolutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in EPOS technologies, identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending innovative solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure seamless integration and interoperability of EPOS systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven experience as an EPOS Engineer or similar role, demonstrating expertise in EPOS system design, development, and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of EPOS hardware, software, and peripherals, including touchscreens, printers, scanners, and card payment systems.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python, with the ability to develop and customize EPOS software applications.
• Familiarity with database management systems (SQL, MySQL, etc.) and experience in integrating EPOS systems with existing databases.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, colleagues, and end-users.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of industry regulations and security standards related to EPOS systems is a plus.
