Solution Architect

Salary: c.£85K

Location: Preston - 3 days per week in the office

This is an exciting opportunity to join high profile organisation in the aviation sector. Helping to design and develop simple and elegant solutions, working directly with Chief Architect.

Responsibilities will include:

• Work closely with software development teams, software/platform vendors and project managers in the design, planning, sizing and governance of projects and product roadmaps.

• Ensure the solutions architecture adheres to the enterprise architecture principles.

• Translate requirements created by the delivery teams in to architecture for solutions described in the design artefacts.

• Provide detailed, end-to-end solutions, considering functional and non-functional requirements.

• Govern project teams implementating projects that are integrated with COTS.

What we're looking for:

• A Software development background is beneficial, as is experience in eCommerce and/or B2B.

• In-depth knowledge of technology stacks and development practices, with particular emphasis on SAFe Agile.

• Strong background in system integration and development with proven expertise in application architecture.

• Broad solution design experience and extensive application design with experience gained on eCommerce projects.
