Systems Engineer

Synchro is currently working with a scaling software house in Swansea, and we are recruiting on their behalf for a System's Engineer to join the team.

A taste of what you will be doing:

• Providing 1st and 2nd line customer support and troubleshooting via support ticketing
• Active participation and oversight in the release process by performing and overseeing
• user acceptance testing on the latest releases and maintaining internal testing labs.
• Managing completion of internal and external projects to ensure goals and stakeholder expectations are met.

What you will have experience with:

• Deploying & Supporting software applications
• IP Network configuration and troubleshooting
• Windows Server Environment configuration and troubleshooting
• Good understanding of SQL configuration, querying, backups & troubleshooting

Initial in-person induction training will last around 2-3 weeks and will take place in the Swansea office from 9am - 5pm.

• Hours are 9am-5pm, progressing to a rotating shift schedule covering from 9am until 10pm as customer and business needs increase.
• Required to attend the office once every 2 weeks for their team day (currently on a Monday).
• Team days are scheduled on a weekly basis so employees are welcome to come in more often if desired.

Salary: £27,000 - £36,000
Location: Swansea (Hybrid working)
