£68k-£74k p/a - 1 or 2 days per week from Central London offices, the rest remote

Our London based client have an immediate requirement for a permanent Lead Software Engineer to join their growing function. We are looking for a full stack Development lead with a background utilising .NET technology in a lead capacity to manage the Software Engineering team.

Key responsibilities for the Lead Software Engineer

• Manage the Software Development team.
• Help create high quality software and promote delivery-based culture.
• Assist technology heads in the guidance and overall direction of the team.
• Lead, coach and mention Software Developers within the team.
• Work in an agile team while taking ownership of all technical delivery.
• Drive forward DevOps maturity.
• Participate in full software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Participate in agile scrum ceremonies.

Key experience required for the Lead Software Engineer

• Extensive hands-on development using C#, .NET, MVC, ASP, Web API/RESTful API.
• Good experience with JavaScript frameworks, ideally ReactJS or equivalent.
• Experience of Microsoft Azure services.
• Experience of SQL server, NoSql and CosmosDB.
• Source Control using GIT.
• Commercial experience of TDD & BDD.
• Current and recent use of Design Patterns and Responsive Design.
• Experience in CI/CD and Azure DevOps.
