AS400 Development Team Lead

Our client is looking for an AS400 Senior IT Support and Development Team Lead with the following attributes:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Developing new IT projects and supporting and developing existing
• Perform all parts of a projects life cycle from Analysis through to implementation and training
• Ensuring Corporate compliance
• Assisting other IT staff as required
• Deputising for the Head of IT during their absence
• Work with the Head of IT to ensure hardware is up to date

KEY SKILLS:

• At least 5 years' experience managing IT systems
• Thorough knowledge of RPGLE and P8 (AS400) platforms
• Knowledge pf HTML and JavaScript
• Knowledge of Windows administration, knowledge of SCCM or MECM helpful, if not this can be shown in-house
• Knowledge of backup processes and Disaster Recovery

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assisting in effective functioning of IT team and providing cover when necessary
