My growing Energy client is looking for a skilled Power System Data Specialist to join their growing team in Brussels on a hybrid working pattern.
Power System Data Specialist Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the product management, development and maintenance of the test models and the artefacts
- Involved in any topics with the aim to enhance data quality (Data exchange standardisation conformity assessment, Datamodelling, etc.).
- Ensure the test models and the artefacts (Ecore, OCL, SHACL, etc.) for CGM building process and for other RCC services are kept aligned with the specifications.
- Ensure a smooth vendor, contract, and release management of the tool enabling the validation of the data quality (including the quality rules updates).
- Timely delivery of the quality rules and test models for validating grid models to the CGM OPDE (Common Grid Model - Operational planning Data environment).
- Ensure there is a clear and well-functioning cross-project governance of the artefacts and tools related to data validation.
- Support with interoperability tests to increase data quality
- University degree in power system engineering, IT or a related field.
- Prior successful experience dealing with energy sector, model data, data quality, data validation.
- Strong organization and planning skills, analytical skills, structured problem solving, attention to details.
- Knowledge of CIM (Common Information Model) and CGMES (Common Grid Model exchange specification) is an advantage
- Knowledge of UML (Unified Modelling Language), appetite to use the Eclipse Modelling Framework.
- Knowledge of Object Constraint Language (OCL) and/or Shapes Constraint Language (SHACL) is a plus.
- Strong PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams; Outlook; SharePoint).
