Linux Engineer - £600 - £650p/d (Inside of IR35) - Newport - SC Clearance
A multi-national aerospace client now requires a Security-Cleared Linux Engineer to implement, support and maintain their existing and future Linux infrastructure.
This is an exciting opportunity for a contractor with previous experience end-to-end provisioning, operation, monitoring and managing physical or virtual Servers.

A multi-national aerospace client now requires a Security-Cleared Linux Engineer to implement, support and maintain their existing and future Linux infrastructure.
This is an exciting opportunity for a contractor with previous experience end-to-end provisioning, operation, monitoring and managing physical or virtual Servers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of any incidents, requests, changes, or problems and of the server environment/estates
- Installation and assembly of any infrastructure hardware.
- Supporting customer sites and collaborating various infrastructure teams.
- Proactively monitoring the environment for any issues
- Evaluating both hardware and software within server, network and storage
- Holds Active SC Clearance
- 5+ Years in Linux/Unix Administration
- Strong Background working in Linux Operating Systems
- Familiarity with automation technologies in management, deployment, and operation of Servers
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
