Infrastructure Network Engineer

Network Engineer/Croydon/Hybrid Working/£60,000.p.a

A well-known group of high street retailers need a competent Network Engineer to work on a range of exciting projects. Their 1000+ retail stores can be found on most UK high streets. This organisation sits in a buoyant section of retail and is owned by an international retail conglomerate. This could be your chance to become directly involved with the re-networking of their stores, offices and warehouses.

You'll also be providing 3rd line support for their networks Involving patching and housekeeping. Designing and delivering changes to the network infrastructure. Supporting IT projects and business programmes and ensuring appropriate technical involvement. You will work closely with the Infrastructure Manager to analyse current and future business requirements and ensure network solutions are in line with business needs, strategy, market, and cost.

What you'll need:

• Cisco Meraki knowledge/experience
• Cisco wireless CCNP Switching and Routing
• ITIL Foundation
• Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Bonus skills:

• Knowledge of VMWare platforms
• Experienced in multiple Firewall technologies: Palo Alto/Fortigate/Daisy
• Experience working in a retail environment.
